A resident of the U.S. state of Florida tried to do an exorcism on his 80-year-old girlfriend, reports Tampa Bay Times.
According to the newspaper, the 54-year-old Edward Benes spent ritual more days, after which he was detained by the police.
Law enforcement officials said that the incident occurred when the lovers quarrel. The man threw his girlfriend to the floor and told her that he intended to drive the devil out of it.
Exactly how police learned about the incident with exorcism, is unknown. Arrived on the scene, law enforcement officers caught an elderly woman in tears.
